Free Charge Card

Hi,

I have enable the free charge card but it is not showing up as an option under payment methods. I have tried to search this and osc's forums but not found the answer.

Can anyone give me a clue where to look.

Is there a central place that has instructions for all the mods that are included with the ms-max version.

If i remember correctly, the "webmasters corner free charge card" module allows for the bypassing of the payment process so that customers get free purchases. It's good for free download sites which dont charge for downloads. What you want to use if you wish to accept credit card's but not use a payment gateway and instead process them manually is the "credit card" module.

I have created a coupon for 100% discount. This will be given to our designers to allow them to download anything in the store. Our store is almost all downloadable products. Since the cart still goes through the payment screen I figured I needed the free charge card for that purchase.

Does that makes sense?

the webmasters corner free charge card will cause your store to completely skip the payment process meaning you will not need to give a 100% discount as if you are using this payment module, they will never be asked for a payment method.

problem with this module, is that if you have "regular" customers who also select this method of payment, they will never be asked for credit card details either. **only use "webmasters corner free charge card" if EVERYTHING in your store is meant to be FREE.
