Default Add to Cart => Download

I'm going to host a product download site.
I'll add customers to my site manually.

So, I want to remove "Add to Cart" button, and place the "Download Now" button there.

I DON'T need any verification (checkout success, payment done etc.,)
Only the customer needs to be logged in.

Can anyone help me with the code?

Default RE: Add to Cart => Download

I would post the code if it were that simple but your talking about a re-write of the catalog. The easiest way to do this would be to ad an admin screen to work with downloadable products and give you an interface to insert the correct file name with a browse button. Then just rewrite the code with a hard link for downloading that file in the product_info.php page. Probably need to do it this way as its the only way i see to completely bypass the checkout process completely.

This job would take us a few hours to do though.

I tried this,

* Copied the code for download link from "checkout_sucess.php"
* Pasted next to "Add to cart" button.

Seems it works. If the user is logged in, he can see the "Download" button. I tried one download, it works.

Now, I only need to remove "Add to cart" button.
