How to get 'new products' to rotate

It seems on my new products section, it only shows the newest thing I add. I think it'd be alot nicer if it randomly went through all the new products for the month.

Any ideas how to do this?

any idea what I might have changed to make it stop doing that? I'm using the stock files in that area of the game. Look at my site www.upupandawaykites.com , go on the main page and just refresh your screen a few times...the new products stay the same (but there are a couple hundred new ones this month if you click on the arrow and see). I also installed the update from msasak that limits the new products box to the current month. I got rid of his update and tried my old one and noticed it was doing the same thing....

Any ideas on what files I should check out? I'll do file compares on any relevant files and report back the changes.

Your 'Whats New' box is rotating through your new products. Your 'New Products' module is not showing any products right now. It will only show products added in the current month. Everything is working as it should AFAICT. The 'New Products' module does not rotate, but allows you to set how many new products per page, and the user can scroll through them.

Figured it out...

somehow my 'date added' category got reset to '0' I don't know how it happened, but I'm fixing it manually now.
