| As you can see here I have quite a few flags at my store. What I'm hoping to do is in addition to just letting people search through all the flags by just flipping throught the pages, I want to let them search the flags by occassion. What I'm thinking is having a place with links to a search query searching for 'easter' or 'christmas' or 'fall' or whatever. What is the best way to impliment this? I was thinking of putting keywords in each product description, but I think that would look pretty unprofessional to just have a list of keywords. I'm thinking of maybe creating a new field in the database to host keywords, and then make it so the search function will include that keyword field in its search. If this goes well maybe this can turn into a contribution. To help organize the store without actually making new categories. Because I think adding tons and tons of categories actually adds complexity to the store. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.[/url] |

| Why not just create the appropriate holiday or event as categories under flags. Or better yet use them as top level categories so customers can see many different categories of flags when they first visit. I really like your flags and I'm sure your customers will too! Why not show them off first thing. (Having a complete top category list of flags will also make your store look really full on first glance.). Just a thought. Everything looks great! |
