POS and OSC sharing same Db?

Wondering if anyone has a real brick and mortar store
where they have their POS system and OSC using same Db?

POS system...a Point of Sale system can be as simple as a cash registar...

It sounds as if you are looking for a way to add sales into the OSC that may come from an off internet source...

Simple way to do this would be to create a "new cutomer" selection on the order.php in the admin order section allowing for "new customer" and order info to be manually entered...

I haven't seen the option on here but have looked for it myself...

I can alter code I see but haven't achieved the level of create yet so...
Have to wait for msasek and other gods of creation to produce it while I sit and learn...

Maybe if we get enough replies here we can push this one through as a good addition to add to the TOP of the list of things to do...
