    Default Easypopulate Question

Our store has approx 17000 items, which makes it a pain to use Easypopulate. Is there a better way to upload this many items, and still use the category generation feature of easypopulate? I can upload directly to the mysql server using MS Access, but we don't get the categories automatically created. Is there a seperate script around to create the categories? or has someone found a better way to upload a large inventory and generate the categories?

You could create a .sql file with the categories and upload it...
Look under catalog/install and you will see a .sql file with the generic input that osc comes with...you will be able to see the format and judge if this might be an option for you...
