Change Manufacturer Text String

I am working on a site for a clothing store, and they would like to change the word "manufacturer" to "designer" throughout the whole site. Any ideas on how difficult that might be? Where all do I need to look to make sure I don't miss any occurences of the word? I don't care about changing page names or references in the code--I just need to change any place where the word is output to the page for the user to see.

Found the answer. I had to edit some define() statements in english.php and a file that has code for the advanced search form (can't recall the name off hand).
