Default My altered coolmenu is malfunctioning. Please help!

Could someone who knows about javascript please take a look at my site and please tell me what is wrong with the way i have set up cool menu.

I have installed coolmenu 1.2 contributuion and got it working to a point. I modified it so it would fit diagonaly across my header instead of in the category box. It looks fine in Mozzilla but in IE and Konquerer it pushes the rest of the page down. I know it is reading the stylesheet cause it is using the updated colours i put in.

The page in question is here:

http://www.digimarksystems.com.au/ca...alog/index.php

I have tried the validation process at http://validator.w3.org/ .It comes up with a few errors to do with the javascript and as i am new to the language i don' know what to do.

here is an extract from the validator :
__________________________________________________ ___________________

Below are the results of attempting to parse this document with an SGML parser.

1.

Line 4, column 65: required attribute "TYPE" not specified

...AGE="JavaScript1.2" SRC="includes/menu_animation.js"></SCRIPT>

The attribute given above is required for an element that you've used, but you have omitted it. For instance, in most HTML and XHTML document types the "type" attribute is required on the "script" element and the "alt" attribute is required for the "img" element.

Typical values for type are type="text/css" for <style> and type="text/javascript" for <script>.

2.

Line 16, column 9: required attribute "TYPE" not specified

<script>

3.

Line 132, column 53: required attribute "TYPE" not specified

<script language="JavaScript" src="menu_items.js.php"></script>

Thanks for any thing you can offer
