Problem with Cart

I'm having trouble with my newly installed MS2-MAX. If you go to the shopping cart area, and some items to your cart, then click checkout, and it takes you to the login or register screens, at this point, after you log in, the shopping cart is empty. Everything that was added to the cart has disappeared. If you are already logged in, then start adding items, everything is fine. I've checked the session ID, and that stays the same during the whole process. But for some reason, the login process is clearing the cart.

Why is it doing this?

The only thing I've changed from a routine setting is that I've made the entire cart SSL protected, not just the checkout procedure. I did this by setting the HTTP_SERVER and HTTPS_SERVER settings in the configure.php file both point to the HTTPS server. I've installed the regular osCommerce MS2 several times using this same method, and it has always worked fine.

I'm fairly well experienced in PHP, so I'm not a newbie.

Please help me understand and fix why this is happening.

Check your Cookies settings?

Ok, I adjusted the session settings in the admin. That was the problem. It seems to be working correctly now. Thanks...
