| Hi Guys, I was wondering if I could have multiple stores all with their own databases but have one admin to cover all of them?? If not could I have multiple stores within one database (therefore the admin would handle all anyway). I know there is a multi store contrib (not been able to find it yet so if anyone can help, please post the link!) but not sure if anyone has successfully used it with MAX. Thanks in advance Rob. |

| Yes the multi-store contrib would work - One Database & admin with many stores offering the same or differnt products. See: Multiple" Mini-Stores" with 1 Admin http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1534 Now as for a MAX version....Since BOTH are based on MS2 it should not be hard - however youy would have to convert it to BTS format and manually add in the changes to MAX (use a COMPARE tool like Beyond Compare - to make the changes quickly).

| Did anyone every get the multistores running. I figure that it can be done, but because the multistores contrib already has admin level access and osCmax does to, I think that it will be a nightmare to merge the files. I would really like to know if anyone has had any success doing this. |

| I have not done this myself into MAX but I have tried it on a MS2 site and works.... It should be possable (ANY CONTRIBUTION made for MS2 could/should be able to add into MAX - unless there is a simular fuction already there or code conflicts...) - it would NOT be easy as ther is alot of changed/addtion in MAX. What I have done is MARKED all MAX code that is differnt (commenting where possable the old code if changed) verses the orginal osCommerce MS2 version. THEN add in the "contrubtion" into in the osCommerce MS2 version (COMMENT ALL CHANGES!) THEN compare what can be moved into MAX.... Note: BTS move alot of code but that may not be too much of a factor for this one as MOST changes are ADMIN. Good Luck
