ERROR 1046 - 2 Stores down need help ASAP!!!

Both admin and catalog are showing (on one) and the other is showing the error only on catalog:


1046 - No Database Selected

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration

I found this post below but I haven't changed anything and the store has been working fine all weekend and for the past two days. I checked with the person that checks for orders and she said she hasn't touched anything except status of orders.

I have checked additional posts and one that sounds possible is a bad install, but its been working fine.

Is there a post that I am missing if so could you please point me in the right direction? If not please help!

Also wanted to add that I have checked both of the copies of configuration.php in admin/includes and catalog/includes. I have also checked database.php in catalog/includes/functions and I have also checked the database it's self using phpmyadmin. Everything is the same as it was before.

admin config...is database set to sessions or mysql?...the help may have changed it on you

Problem fixed by re-install. I am still not sure what actually happened. - Jessica
