    Default change look of breadcrumbs

    Hi
I am sure it is an easy answer, but I have looked here in oscdox and oscommerce forums and cannot find anything. I want to use my own buttons instead of the thin strip with text there is for breadcrumbs at the moment. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

OK found it in the stylesheet.css file under TD.headerNavigation, just add background image url and bingo. Would have been nice not to spend two days working it out though. But then again, once you do it for yourself I suppose it's done. I didn't realise that you could insert images into a css file, I thought it was all to do with text and background sizes and colours. Lean something new everyday (at least with OSC I do) well, every two days with my learning curve.

    battleaxe,

Save yourself some time and buy a couple of books!

Get one on CSS and one on PHP. The 2 or 3 hours you spend reading them will save you weeks of aggravation. Take it from one who has lived the nightmare!

When I first started working with osCommerce several years ago, I knew nothing of PHP and CSS. After about a week of making a total mess of everything, I went to the library and got 2 or 3 books on PHP and CSS. Spent the weekend reading them, and suddenly the mess of code became coherent. Just knowing basic php syntax and how CSS worked was all it took.

It became obvious where things were located (or at least where they should be!) , and how to make basic changes.

    Good luck!
