    Default WYSIWYG on Mozilla/Firefox?

    Hi out there,
i'm only using firefox as a webbrowser.
Since htmlarea3.0 or fckeditor can be used as a WYSIWYG editor on Mozilla browsers too, i wonder if there's already a patch for MS2-MAX out, to use it.
If not, has somebody already done it and can gimme some hints on how to take advantage of htmlarea3.0?

    Many thanks in advance.
    Greetings, -etri-

htmlArea that is used - is only for IE browers and will NOT work on any other browser unless they use IE's engine (some actually do!). Opera/Netscape/Mozilla etc will not work with htmlArea. If there is a newer version that does work - I have not seen it made for OSC - if it is so, maybe speak to the person who converted htmlArea for OSC a call for an update.

    There's already an htmlarea3.0 contribution for MS2
But i asked if someone already had it inserted in his MS2-MAX.

Htmlarea3 and fckeditor do support mozilla, thats what i already knew. But MS2-MAX uses HTMLArea 2.0 or below. Thats my problem.

Should not be hard to add in......

Why don't you ask for it in the MS2-MAX feature request......

May be we can include in in 1.8.

    Good news!

This is already installed and working in the 1.8 development codebase! I have it working for all admin newsletters, email and product functions.

The new WYSIWYG works on IE, Mozilla, Netscape and Firefox.
