Default Edit attributes - Something Something isn't right

Hi all,

This its the second time this happen to me on one of my installs and i don't have a clue why this its happening. When i'm looking at the products page on my admin, there's an option that reads, Edit Attributes, when i click on that option, i'm getting this message:

Edit Attributes -> Something isn't right....

The last time I fixed this re-installing the sofwware, but i lose all my information. Right now I don't want to recapture again all my information and I really don't have a clue on what's going on or the cause for this.

The last thing i did on my system, i was deleting all the dvd products and the default manufacturers from the admin.... as soon as i finish i was testing all the options and notice this problem.

Does anyone have a clue on this? or is there a way to re-install the software without loosing all my current information?

Thanks in advance for your time and patience to see this thread.

Try changing the line :
// Change to your default language ID if it differs.
$languageFilter = "4"

matching your language id (table "languages" in the database) in the file new_attributes_config.php. I had the same probleme and looked for this option for hours...
It worked as soon as I changed the option.
