Default database and admin problem

Hi had to reinstall MS2MAX cos I broke it My products are still in the database, but I cant view thwm on the admin side. Is there any way I can repopulate the admin with the products that are in the sql database. I am not a coder, just a humble twit trying to get a shop live. I will be here most of the night, so please don't be shy even if you are not sure, let me know you ideas.

Delete/dump all tables and reimport the database..... (ie: Use phpMyAdmin or simular to do that....)

You could dump JUST all of the product tables (including the attributes) and then (seaming as you don't want the same stuff anyway) your starting with a CLEAN slate for products.

Cheers j
I did want the products in the database, but struggled away and couldnt find a way to retrieve them from the database into the admin side. I had to do them all over again (lost the backup with the admin when I reinstalled). Really grateful for your reply though
