Default Changing the option order

Is there a way to change the option order on the page when you purchase an item. As well as the order within the drop down itself. Right now it lists the options in reverse or of which they are typed.

Thanks in advance

Also - is there a way to make new options appear based on previously selected options. Say I have a choice of two side dishes 1) Pasta 2) Fries - If i select pasta i get two more options 1) type 2) sauce and if I select fries i get two different options 1) style 2) flavor

As for the first request - "Sort attribute" mod will give you this option. Search this site for my post about this...

2nd half - no - not that I have seen. Why not list as:

Pasta-Plain
Pasta-Vingerette
Pasta-Mayo
Fries-Plain
Fries-Seasoned
Fries-Curly
etc...

We can do some custom code work to get the options to act as you specify. Contact us if you need assistance.

jpf - too many options to list that way - bowties+all combos of sauces - linguine+all combos of sauces etc.

fraggle - let me see if my client is satisfied with the way I set it up. If she would prefer the other way I will contact you about custom code work. Thanks

Yea- too many option on options...point taken! ...I would not want to be the cheff with so may option.....a bit confusing.

You could look at maybe using radio buttons or check boxes instead...

(See Attributes option type selection
http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,766 )

Should not be way too hard to have a selectable option.....Possably along the line of Custom PC Creater does it...(Demo at: http://www.snjcomputers.com/osc/ccc.php)

Else - contact "red fraggle" or Rent-a-Coder to have people bid on a custom job.

Good Luck
