Default Some questions about categories, etc.

The project I'm involved is:
to make a catalog in a CD-ROM for distributing to clients, right?
Well, i showed the boss how it was going and he told me to do following stuff:

1. I put dhtml menu to categories, but he doesn't want it. He want to click a main category, and then: show subcategories up, and products down when he clicks... let me explain.
there'd be
ELECTRONICS
CAMERAS
VIDEOS

Electronics has subcategories, but they would not be shown in menu, they'd have to be shown when i click in Electronics... (apart from showing the products in electronics category) and when i click a subcategory, it'd have to show only products, because a subcategory won't have another subcategory/ies.

NOTE: the categories and subcategories list is FIXED (and the level is 2) and i removed the "Add Category" in admin area...

What should i do?

2. how to limit to 3 the number of products shown per page?

thanks a lot, sorry 4 long post.

you would go into the admin area and under configuration>Maximum values>Products expected set this value to four.

Then go to Configuration> Product listing> Location of prev/next navigation bar set this value to either 2 or 3.

2 will put the nav bar on bottom only and 3 will set it at the top and bottom.

hope this helps.

cheers

another 1...

1. When i press a category button, i see all the products of that category, right?
Well, by touching the templates and the products_listing module u can add another columns for listing, but:
What if I have just 3 columns for listing?
How could i add some code for listing just 3 columns, fixed... and not have that complex code which generates the header and the listing...
I mean: "templatize" the product listing module.
