Double Trouble (double products?)

Has anyone had troubles with products mysteriously reproducing themselves (creating doubles)? I've had products in two product categories on one site do this. And this is after we'd finished with doing easypopulate product uploads -- i.e. all the products in question were entered one-by-one in the usual fashion.

Probably an issue with manual/easypopulate mixed data entry.

If all products do not have unique model numbers, you will get weird things happening with easypopulate.

I realized that I hadn't upgraded to easypopulate 2.73. Not sure, but that might have been part of the issue.
