    Do a search on your computer for the named file (like C:\php\php.ini or C:\WINDOWS\php.ini), then edit it with a TEXT editor and look for "register_global" and change to:

    register_globals = On

    Save and reboot or restart apache.

    Hi JPF, sorry i did change the file name php.ini in C:\EasyPHP1-7\home\php.ini on this line

    ; - register_globals = On [Security, Performance] but still didn't work.

    I even copy some php.ini file placed in different directory example like, C:\EasyPHP1-7\php.ini or

    C:\EasyPHP1-7\home\catalog\php.ini and restated the windows amd restarted the EasyPHP1-7 Apache server. Just wondering is there any Apache server to install on your local server?? or easier way to get this osscomerce run on your local intranet server?? what applications do you need to install ??

    Thanks JPF,

    Regards

    Billy

    You need to remove the ; - and the [Security, Performance] from that line. It should only read:

    register_globals = On

    Then you need to restart your webserver for the changes to kick in.
