Help with Welcome Email

Hello everyone!

I feel kinda stuck here...researched this site and oscommerce site all day today but no luck. Here is what I need help with:

- Be able to receive an email when a cusomer signs up. I activated " send extra mail" in admin without any luck.

- be able to provide a percent discount.

- Be able to send HTML email

Help would be appreciated/

set signup coupon at -10 for 10% discont in the email or -5 for 5% etc
have you tried setting your authenticate emails to on? that way you have to apporve signups at the site

and lastly, HTML emails.... that can be done but you have to be comfortable with embedding php code in html
