Default Case SenSiTivE CASEsensitive IN WINDOWS? - Plz read

I didn't knew this.
I begun modding my catalog.
I begun adding lot of new fields to "new product" form.
In the product_info.tpl.php there's a query which gets all the product information.
The thing is that i have put a field product_XCODE in the query, and then when i had to show it i put this code
<?php echo stripslashes($product_info['products_xcode']); ?>
but it didn't work...

After 1/2 hour modifying touching and retouching, i put all uppercase and u know what? I BEGUN DRINKING LOT OF BEER TO CELEBRATEEEEEE

It worked.

So, if you're gonna modd your catalog, be sure it is uppercase

PS: I have windows !! that's the most strange !!! i cannot believe yet...
Any technical explanation... thanks. It'll be useful, hope.

I never have any problems on windows with case at all. But I always use lowercase unlike you. ?

Look msasek...
This is the 1º time i have this stuff...
I have more than 3 or 4 yrs. of php programming (yes, yes, I'm newbie still ) but i never had this problem in windows !!
I checked, re-checked, and that's it, i put products_XCODE in one side, products_xcode in the other, and the item doesn't show, i change all the lowercase (that's what i wanted to say, my english is horrible) and then it works... :P
