BTS 1.2a Upgrade Package for MS2-MAX v1.5.5 RUINED MY STORE

Ok I installed the BTS 1.2a Upgrade Package for MS2-MAX v1.5.5 and now when I click on a catagory I get the GOD AWFULL standard line by line listing of products. I wanted the catagory listing to be like the front page. WHAT HAPPENED IN THIS UPGRADE?? I thought it would be cool but it changed the way the catagory products are listed, AND ITS UGLY. The whole reason I went to max is because I liked the 30 mods bundled and I liked the way the Catagories were listed. The catagory page should list products like the front page Image price and buy now button. IF they want to know more about the product they click on it to get a discription. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

Relax. Take a deep breath. It did not ruin your store. All the features are still there.

What template are you using?

You can always copy the template from the /templates/aabox/content/index_products.tpl.php to whatever template you are using . That will fix the issue.

Ok so the way it indexes the catalog for a spacific catagory is saposed to be in the template?? index_products.tpl.php cool I didnt know where to find that code. Now that i know I can give it a try. This would be for the products listed in a spacific catagory right??

Yeah, you want the 3 column with image display right? All you do is pick the display module you want to use in the template and you can switch it. The templates are really quite powerful, so you can have multiple display types available at all times, depending on your template.

I am using template OS03C00037 from algozone.com its a cool template but they are having issues adapting it. I did nitice there are three index tpl php files. so where would I switch the display type?? in the main template page?? Is thee a standard name for the file that the index type would be defined in?? Just wondering. My site is http://special-things.net/cat/index.php that is the temp site untill I get everything the way I want it. Let me know if you know where I can switch the index type. I just dont know which template file to look in. thanx

Ok cool; I also have index_nested.tpl.php index_default.tpl.php do these play a part at all in how the content from the catagories is listed?? What are these other index tpl files for?? Just thought I would ask.

If you take a look at the other index files, you will see what they handle.

The index_default.tpl.php file handles all the framwork of the center of the page and what modules get loaded, the heading, customer greeting, the define_mainpage module, specials, new products, and upcoming prouducts, as well as where those modules will be placed.

The index_nested.tpl.php file handles Category headings, category links and format, new products per category and the html structure for those elements.
