Before installing the mods

I got some oscommerce payment modules.
Plz tell me if I'm wrong.
Can i install these payment modules without affecting my oscdox installation? Have i to modify some code to make those modules work in oscdox?

It depends on the mod itself. Look at the install instructions. If it has to modify core files of osCommerce then, yes, you will need to manually make changes. If it just has 2 files, the module and language file, then no, you can drop it in and it should work.
