Default How do you change the "Welcome to AABox.com's MS2-MAX&q

Hope you can help...

I can't seem to find how to change the text "Welcome to AABox.com's MS2-MAX" on the front page...

I have read the instruction on this forum to change the front page text, but I don't seem to have a default.php file in the English directory:

catalog/includes/languages/english/

I have changed the text in the mainpage.php but this does not contain the "Welcome to AABox.com's MS2-MAX" text....

Have a missed something....

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Big D.

catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php
Line 38
define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Welcome to AABox.com\'s MS2-MAX');
Replace the text between the single quotes.
NOTE: If you have single quotes or double quotes within your text; add one forward slash before them as above. .com\'s

Neil,

thanks for the quick reply!

I spent hours looking for this all over the place and in a matter of minutes you answered my question that was driving me crazy….

I did look in this (index.php) file but as it contained the standard osCommerce front page text at the top of this page and this text was not being used on this MS2-MAX version on the from page... I didn't look through it thoroughly enough as I thought this file was not been used….

Thanks!

Big D.

If you use a good text editor with a search/ find feature you can usually find those items easily. I use textpad but there are hundreds - & some very good free ones.

Neil thanks for the tip!

I use Dreamweaver so I investigated the search facility further and found that you can search for text in all files in any folder!

In Dreamweaver, select the Find & Replace (Ctrl+F) then change the default selection of "Find in:" to Folder, enter the text you want to find then select "Find All".

You can also specify to search for all files on a remote site that you have defined in Dreamweaver.

What a big time saver!

Thanks again Neil for prompting me to look for a better way of find text within files.

Big D.

To edit the files - don't use File Manger File Manage causes problems - use a text editor - textpad from www.textpad.com or ultraedit from www.ultraedit.com are both great.

I use Dreamweaver myself for all our development, both PHP and HTML. It has awesome text editing, search and find/replace features as well.
