Download by Redirect issue

Have set up OSCMAX to use download by redirect. and am getting this error:

I managed to fix this error by CH_Mod the /pub /download directories to 777, however, when a customer tries to download his file, IE opens a blank white page and nothing happens. It contains the full path to the MP3 file, but nothing happens...



Any ideas?
