Coupon or Special Pricing per Manufacturer

Sometimes my distributor has a monthly sale on one manufacturer, like 10% the entire product line. This can be hundreds of items.

I am trying to figure out how I can add all the products from an entire manufacturer to "specials" or somehow get a coupon to work for an entire category.

So I guess I really have two questions:

1. Does anyone know a way to add all products from one manufacturer to specials easily?
2. I have tried to set-up a coupon for just one category of products. I enter the category ID when I set the coupon up. But when I go to check out with products from other categories it still gives the discount even though the products are not in the category I selected when I set the coupon up.

Any ideas on either question?

What you need to do is add this mod to the Gift Voucher (Made by the SAME author):

Discount Coupon (NC) v0.95

Coupons can be either percentage or fixed amounts.
Restrict to categories or products.
