Using Crystal Report Advance 9 and Crystal Enterprise 9 on MySQL just fine (version 10 is in the mail to me). You will have to setup a OBDC driver so Crystal Reports can see MySQL.

Note: the "Standard" (@$199) and OEM version of Crystal Reports does not support external OBDC drivers - just the internal drivers (MS Access, MSSQL Server, and other "PC based" data (not via OBDC).)

You will need the Professional ($495), Developer ($595) or Advance ($1995) version to use OBDC drivers to connect to MySQL.

I use MySQL Connector/ODBC version 2.50 (not 3.5x - has some problems with Crystal Reports with that version). Other than that - it works quite well.

Good Luck

Default ms2max and crystal reports can anyone help?

I am trying to get a report from Crystal from the database to show me the following:

Order number
Date ordered
model number
size (attribute)
colour (attribute)
final price of order

I have fiddled and fiddled for ages but cannot seem to pull the right tables. I am not a coder or a Db person, just loopy MS2 fan tying to get some management info out of my MS2 setup. I know a few of you use Crystal, so give us a hand please?

Kim
