How does Product Notification works???

Anyone has an idea how this feature works? I didn't find out. I thought when logged-in customer sets some product for notifiing him, then later when I as the admin sets let's say that product as a special or change the price, then --- i have thought customer will by automatically notificated by email.. But, he was not

Please, can anyone explain how it works?

stando, you have to manually write a notificataion. It is not automatic. Once you create the notification, then it will send it to anyone that has it requested for a product.

Oh, thanks, I thought something is wrong...

But how can I as admin know who to send news about which products? Let's say customer sets notification on product No1, then how can I know this customer set notification on this produc? is it possible to know?
