affiliate problems

I get following error when someone tries to set up an affiliate account

1044 - Access denied for user: 'username@localhost' to database
LOCK TABLES affiliate_affiliate WRITE

Try changing your database setting in both configure.php from "localhost" to "127.0.0.1".

Still same issue after changing DB Host to 127.0.0.1

I had ask my hosting provider to set Lock table permissions for me....that solved the problem.

You will have to ask your hosting provider to do the same or you can try doing that yourself through PHPmyadmin.
