Default Fixed amount COD fee

Is there a module or a trick for charging a fixed fee for COD payment method? Finnish post office charges 3.15 euros for it, so charging that amount from the client, if the choose COD over e.g. wire transfer, seems fair.

Where can I find that COD mod? MS2-MAX1.5 comes with one, but that doesn't have fixed charge amount. I found Calculation of cash on delivery fees mo which claims to be exclusively for CVS version of 2.2. Was this the module you meant and is it known to work with MAX?

Read the "README" file.

Quote:
INSTALLATION:

1.) Copy files into the directory structure as shown in the archive.

2.) Activate in the admin section under Modules -> Order Total.
ATTENTION: consider the Sort Order, otherwise there is no display

Function:
This module calculates the cash on delivery fees for following shipping modules:
'ap' (Austrian Post AG),
'dp' (German Post AG),
'flat' (Flat Rate),
'item' (Per Item),
'table' (Table Rate),
'ups' (United Parcel Service),
'usps' (United States Postal Service),
'zones' (Zone Based Rates).

The payment module 'Cash on Delivery' and one of the above named shipping modules
must be installed and active.

The cash on delivery fees can be adapted in the admin section.
Not much but that is all you need.

(Make sure you download the WHOLE package and then add in the "update" - which does not have the WHOLE package.)
