Default Problems displaying Sub-Categories / Products on same page

Hi,

I have been playing with my MS2 MAX 1.5 install and coming along well with my store. Although I now have a problem. I initially wanted to keep all of my categories in the same format whereby they either had sub-categories in them or products. However, I have come to the point where I need to display at least 7 products or so and one single sub-category. The problem is....although my products are displaying as expected, the subcategories do not. I can see that they are there in the categories info box but they do not appear in the main content area.

Is there a fix for this or am I being a spazz?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Well I managed to fix this fairly easily by altering the code in index.php slightly to reflect set a different $category_depth variable for categories which contain both products and sub-categories at that level. This then displays a template which is effectively is both index_nested.tpl.php and index_product.tpl.php combined into one file.

Easy in the end really.
