Can I add Recover Cart Sales Module in MAX???

Hi,

I have just installed MS2-MAX.

I am currently running another store with OSC MS1 where I use the Recover Cart Sales contribution/module. I relaly want to install this module in my MAX store. It is one of the most useful modules I have installed thus far. Really. It has recovered many abandoned cart sales to date. It is a must and should be used by all store owners IMHO.

ANyway, I just want to know if there are any known conflicts I will run into with the modules that have already been installed with MS2-MAX before I attempt to install the module.

Again, if this is compatible with MS2-MAX, INSTALL IT!. You will not be sorry you did.

ANy replies as to it's compatibility with MS2-MAX and any known conflicts with other pre-installed mudules would be greatly appreciated.

Did you ever get this working? I got everything installed, but when I go into admin there is nowhere to select the "recover cart" items.

It has something to do with the report.php, and tools.php files. They do not use the <a href.... > statments that are in the instructions. They use a tep_admin_files_boxes(FILENAME_S.... structure.

Any thoughts?

No i never even tried as I did not want to mess up anything. I was waiting to her from someone here at OSCdox but no one ever answered the question so I took it as a "no".

Let me know if you ever get it running. THat is possibly the single most useful contribution I have ever seen. I really want to install it. When I was running my OSC store using MS1, I used to have this contrib installed and I made sales because of it.

Simply because of this, I wish I had stayed with MS1

I did it! I just completed the install. I finally found this post on the forum that let me finish it:

You have to change a couple things to the format of MAX on steps 6 and 7 of the instructions.

Let me know if you get stuck - I know nothing about PHP and this was my first contribution install.
