| Hi all, Hope someone can help me with this. I have got 2 currencies setup, they are GBP and EUR. Having deleted the USD currency(default), all prices was set to zero! I went to the back end and edited the english.php file in the language folder to read: define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'GBP'); I also set the default currency to GBP at the backend admin area. Now I have done those changes, the currency does not stick when you change to EUR. When you click on another page it jumps back to GBP immediately! Any Ideas anyone????? Thanks. |

| Having looked through the english.php my understanding would be you don't need to alter define LANGUAGE_CURRENCY. The fact you have altered it won't make any difference as far as I can see as that bit of code doesn't relate to what your changing. Currency changes in terms of setting default and deleting and adding new ones in the store are done through the dialogue boxes in admin. I don't think you need to change any lines of code yourself, as it seems to take all the information necessary from the edit currencies dialogue boxes. I think it may have something to do with the values you have entered in admin in the edit currency dialogue boxes. I am pretty new to php so my interpretation may be wrong, hope this is of some help. |

| Hi, I had left the english.php settings as they were when I deleted USD and added the new GBP and EUR. I thought that changing the backend from: define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD'); to: define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'GBP'); would help make the currency change stick but this has not worked. I have now reverted back to the original settings to ('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD'); and its still not sticking. Any other ideas any one on this matter? help! We are planning to go live very soon. thanks all. |

| Question....How did you "DELETE" the currency? Did you "remove" it in ADMIN? In ADMIN you can select your "DEFAULT" there also.

| Hi, Yep, I deleted the USD from the ADMIN backend and then added the other currencies from there also. Yes, GBP is set to default. |

| Session should be keeping your selection from page to page - unless use the Scoll wheel and the cusor it is sitting on the Currencies Box....

| Hi, the mouse is definately not on the Currencies selection menu. When you highlight the required currency the page immediately refreshes to take into account the new currency. from there you then click where ever you want to go but it still reverts back to GBP. hmmmm.... any other ideas anyone? |
