LockyBoy, The only difference to look out for is simple: any mods that need to be made to files located in the main /catalog directory will most likely need to be moved to the .tpl.php file of the same name in the /catalog/templates directory.
Other than that, admin changes are slightly different for the boxes, since oscmax uses the permissions system for links and boxes.
You would need to modify any links that are coded in the admin boxes. All you need to do is copy an existing link in the php code of a box, then change the defines to match those of your new mod (usually specified in the install instructions of the mod).
Also remember that you cannot just copy files over the MS2-MAX files for most mods, you need to manually add the code to each file.
