Default Get rid of the Login Box

Hi, i am using max 1.5 and when i am in the admi panel i lost my session after 20 minutes or something like that and i have to log in again. Is there a possibility to delete the Login Box at the start of the admin tool or to make the session time up to 2 Hours?

Default

This is a PHP setting - it has NOTHING to do with "login". Your session timed out.

Change you php.ini or make sure you are "moving" between screens every 15 or so min.

In php.ini find and change:
session.gc_maxlifetime = 1440 (in seconds - default 1440 - or 24 mins)

If your "adding item" though WYSISYG HTMLArea editor (which is where I got this problem also) - you should ether type in the MAJORITY of the text off line, then cut'n paste it then format as needed. Or "preview" it (change the screen) to update the session. Use your browser "Back" button to continue editing where you left off.

Default no access to php.ini

To the php.ini i have no access. When i deactivat the login box in the application_top file i do not have the full access to all admin modules. The menue listing on the left side disappears. Had anybody an idea why?
