Default is there a way to turn off the template?

i installed it and the template was off and it looked like the generic oscommerce install.

when i reinstalled it again this time it looked like the ms2max template system.

i was just wondering whether my first install was a fluke or incomplete or is there a way to switch the look on and off....

There is no switch It is 100% integrated. You may have installed and older version of MAX the first time ... 1.5.2 probably. With 1.5.5 we updated the template so that it looked different
