    Default thumbnail to large image.

    Hi all,

Does anyone know how to make the product thumbnail, on the product info page, to enlarge to a different image in a different directory?

I have made 2 image sizes, one for the thumbail that gets displayed and large image to see greater detail.

    thanks all.

    MIKE.

Yes, see the threads about Dynamic MoPix. This is exactly waht this module does (along with other things).

I am using it to display a more detailed image when a user clicks on the thumbnail but I am also using it to display more than one image per item and each of these images is clickable to a lrger version as well.

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the info.

I know about this but I also would like to have the product thumbnail to enlarge to a larger image in a different directory.

have you tried this yourself or just the MoPics function?

    Mike.

    Mike:

I use MoPix but the images are stored in different directories. They are completely different files. The only thing that they have in common is a naming convention so that the system can keep track of which image to display.

mikeyboy, mopics does exaxtly what you want. By default it will store the thumb in the thumbs dir, and the big image in the images_big dir. You can change the directories to whatever you want in the Mopics setup in the admin.

    Morning all,

So by the sounds of things it is only possible to enlarge the image by using only MoPics and not the actual top product thumbnail.

    Cheers.
