What's the difference between MS-2 MAX and osCommerce 2.2 MS2?

When starting from scratch, which version of osCommerce should I use?

MS-2 MAX all the way. Much better for the beginner. Easier to edit. Easier to use. More good stuff

Read the front page of this site. There are articles that tell what is in MAX that is not in MS2

It is like going to the ice-cream parlor....

MS2 is plain ice-cream (if you want anything on it you have to add this "extra")
MS2-MAX is the whole BANNANA SPLIT.....Under all that nice toping there is still the plain ice-cream...


So what is the differnce?

* If you don't want need any added stuff and just a PLAIN site - get just MS2

* If you want one with all the extras - without having to do it your self (if you can) - Added alot of contributions that makes your life with OSC great. Get MS2-MAX!
