    Default Zend Optimizer?

I currently have MS2-MAX installed without Zend Optimizer. Is the Optimizer worth installing? Is the speed increase something one can actually notice? Any risks associated with installing it...or with not having it installed?

Zend Optimizer work great for static PHP files (that don't change--much)... With Dynamic pages (like OSC) there should be a "small" speed increase on the server side - little or no differnce would be seen on the client side - as the downloading and display would still be the slowest problem. MySQL caching and zlib compression could provide more of a boost than Zend (IMHO). Have not tested this thoughly to give you a direct number.
