Default Authorize.net integration?

Hi,
I'm a newbie. I've installed the MS2-Max1.5 without any problem. My client has signed up with Authorize.net. I need some information i.e

1- What is the difference between SIM and AIM and how the both work?
2- Which method should i use?
3- Is MS2-MAX1.5 integrated with AIM? if yes then is it possible to integrate SIM with it?
4- Will the transactions take place on my server or on Authorize.net?

I'll be greatful for this act of kindness.

webworks, the A-Net module uses AIM only. The transactions take place at the A-NET gateway. It is a seamless transaction. The customer never leaves your site. You could add SIM, but why bother since AIM is more secure and seamless?

Hello msasek,
Really thankful for the quick responce. I'll go for AIM. Just one more request.... about the whole transaction proceedure i.e what happens when the customer goes to the order form after adding a product and registerd with the shop till the final screen at Authorize.net?

I don't mean to bother you but just curious to know how this system
works?

Also what do you mean that " The customer never leaves your site.?"

Thank you.
