promo code option

Hi I'm researching available ecommerce systems to use with my new online store and I was wondering if this system allows for the use of promo codes, because if it does, this system is by far the best around! Thanks in advance

OSCMAX does come with CCGV (credit class and gift voucher) installed, but with some issues, checkout the following threads. On the first one I am mostly talking alone, but you will be able to see that you can have some issues on making it work ok depending on your taxes configuration.

As it is right now on my store, I have working perfect gift vouchers, fixed quantity vouchers, and free shipping vouchers. Vouchers that sutract a % from your purchases DO not work for me, since they will mess up the taxes and total on the order.

thanks for your help. what if taxes are not being used (I plan on selling low price products and taxes will be almost zero, so I probably wont even use it, if the % voucher will work)

Also, what is the url of your store so I can check yours out?

No idea without the taxes, sorry, I never tried coupons before I already had taxes set up on my store.

Btw, I now see you posted this on OSCMAX 1.7 forums. I am running 2.0 which is the latest version (RC3 I think), there is no good reason to run 1.7 on new installations.
