| Attached is the osCMax 2.0 RC2 to RC3 patch zip file. If you have osCMax 2.0 RC2 installed, you can just overwrite your files with these updates. If you have modified your install, use a file comparison tool to merge in the changes.

| Does the fact that the RC2->RC3 Upgrade does not include a .sql file mean that the MySql database for RC2 is already compliant with the fixes in the RC3-0-1 Maintenance Release? The RC3-0-1 Maintenance Release does include a SQL file for installation. If the RC2 db is not compliant with the RC3-0-1 code, can we request a sql statement to make it compliant? Thanks! Paul ArgentBeads.com OhioBeads.com I got to the thread at http://www.oscmax.com/story/oscmax_r...1_minor_update and read there about The Post Order Editor missing 'shipping_tax' column in orders table. I followed Asgoroth's SQL statement. Hope that is correct. Last edited by argentbeads; 01-08-2007 at 05:35 PM. |

| That little sql that you found is the only change that needs to be made. There are no sql changes from RC2 to RC3 otherwise.

| Do you have any ETA on a new release? I'm really looking forward to google checkout being distributed with oscmax. Thanks. Ben |

| Ben: I believe that Google Checkout is already available as a contribution. It may take a little more work than waiting for a version with Google Checkout already built in, but it'd be better for your site to be up sooner than later. Paul argentbeads www.ohiobeads.com |

| No ETA. But the google checkout module is a drop in module for an unmodified osCMax 2.0 RC 3.0.1. Do a clean install of osCMax, then simply install the GC module per the instructions (simply upload the files, no manual code changes needed).
