I could not find any additional notes from the release notes included with the download for Automatic Store Feeds v3.0 (v3.2a actually).
I performed steps 1, 2 and 3. Step 4 failed for me.
The note
"STEP 4: CHMOD catalog/feeds to 777"
I interpreted to mean to CHMOD to 777 the files
/catalog/admin/bizrate.php
/catalog/admin/froogle_us.php
/catalog/admin/froogle_uk.php
/catalog/admin/froogle_de.php
/catalog/admin/yahoo.php
The admin menu shows the "Store Feeds" link. Clicking on it expands the menu choices, but I get the error message
"Access Denied
No Right Permission Access
Please contact your Web Administrator to request
more access or if you found any problem."
The contributor is apparently on a walkabout of Europe and unavailable for comment. Do you have any ideas on getting through the next steps?
Thanks!
Paul Brandon

OhioBeads.com - Bulk Jewelry Chain, Jewelry Making Supplies, Clasps, Toggles, Findings, Filigrees : Welcome to OhioBeads.com
I poked around enough to get at least one step further.
After backups , sql mods and adding a line of code to /catalog/admin/includes/column_left.php, I did this (basically Step 3.5):
As 'Admin', go to Administrator/File Access
Under the 'Admin "Boxes" Menu', click on 'StoreFeed' folder
Click on the 'store files' button at the right to install
In the dropdown box of 'Current Box: Storefeed',
choose bizrate.php then save
choose feeders.php then save
choose froogle_de.php then save
choose froogle_uk.php then save
choose froogle_us.php then save
choose yahoo.php then save
These files move under the Filenames bar.
Then click on 'Store Feeds' under the left column menu to see the 'Store Feeds' screen where you can subscribe, etc.
