I spoke too soon when I said "only three edits on one file" in the instructions for the original mod
Admin Manufacturers by Letter (date: 7 Feb 2012).

The bugfix below correctly adds the new "mLetter" GET_VAR to all navigatory links (insert, edit, delete, cancel, etc).
Otherwise, things quickly break out of control.
