When selecting an Autocomplete item from the list, instead of the search result displaying many items i've included quotes in the script to find the exact match.
(This is the normal search function of oscommerce, to enclose keyword with quotes to find exact match)

Works well. Tested with oscommerce 2.3.1 on IE8.
