I've updated the split_product.php file and its language file to add more error checking. I've also updated it so that when you first create a product split it will load the values for weight, length, width, height and ready-to-ship for the first piece of the split from those values entered for the product itself. The value fraction for a new piece will automatically load with the lesser of 0.5 or the remaining value fraction (i.e. if the total value fraction remaining is 0.25 that will load rather than 0.5).

If you alread have version 1.3.9 all you need to do is replace the two split_product.php files with the new versions.
