I strongly recommend to use the modifications by reneman before you use this contrib!

Here's why:
DON'T try to delete a hidden category as this results in a deletion of all of the products in the database + all images!

The problem with this contrib is, that it uses the language id for hiding a category, not very thoughtful...

With renerman's mod you won't run in deletion troubles at least.
