| If you are unable to manage your store for any length of time, you have to take you store off line. If you take it off line you risk the search engines listing your store with any downtime message you put up there, it can take a while to sort it out after. This way your current customers know you have not gone, and potential customers know to expect a wait if they purchase something during your absence.
