As there seems to be no thread for this contribution, Its probably best to say this here,

It seems that there is a problem with people using apple mac's and the safari web browser, sometimes they get an error with the dob format it seems. Although I have tried to replicate this by using the safari webbrowser on windows it still worked fine, so I do not know why some people are experiencing this issue.

I am in 2 minds whether to take out the date of birth completley.
