Default Re: Hi

I've used Oscommerce to develop a funky recruitment site and am currently trying to promote the concept of a Video CV by offering it free to all for a few months. D7 Recruitment with Video CV and the oscommerce part /catalog

I am looking for a solution to view my subcategories when clicking on the categories listed in the bar on the left, any ideas. At the moment when you click on categories it comes up blank as all the candidates are listed in the subcategories.

This forum is for socializing only. Use one of the support forums for any technical issues. Also, no need to crosspost issues... I wanted you to introduce yourself a bit... you know:

I am x years old, from somecity, and have been using osc for x years... something like that... We like to get to know our members here.

Oh OK wasn't sure what you wanted! Well in that case let's start again

(I am x years old) now that would be telling, but I do have 3 lovely children who all put up with a mommy that get's annoyed with nasty code and evil computers that don't do what they are told

(from somecity) we all live in the beautiful Cotswolds on the top of a lovely hill. I have been using osc for about 3 years now and absolutely love it - except when it won't do what I want.

I have never socialized in a forum before, hope that's friendly enough

Hello, all! My name's Crystina. I'm a single mommy of three little ones living in Florida (brrr!).

I've been using OsCommerce for 6 months or so. Got sick of paying $50 a month for hosting of a system that I couldn't fix on my own and offered no support. I switched over to OsMax because of the ability to customize and the maneuverability of the templates. Don't quite have the hang of it yet, but I do love the freedom and basic design. The Os Forums have been such a blessing and much more supportive than any M!^@ merchant cart ever did!

I am desperately trying to run a Christian website design company and online print shop. I love working form home because I can be available for my kids, but the marketing issues get me. I do have a dozen or so dedicated clients, but trying to obtain more clients has been a huge obstacle for me. Lack of finances, therefore resources makes it difficult. But, I love the barter system (website in exchange for ad space, etc). It seems to work okay for what it is. Always looking for new ways to market and trade services. Interested? Anyone? =-)

I have a few sites. Desert Rose Design @ desertrosedesign.net is the big one. <Trying to be, anyway, LoL> I'm starting something new at EternalRose @ eternalrose.net/catalog ... Something I'm playing with a bit and hoping to kick off in the next month or so.

I go to The Father's House in Leesburg, FL. It's an absolutely amazing, wonderful, can't say enough good things about it Church. Very rare these days. They have awesome ministries in place and are really focused on helping each individual learn their role and destiny in God. I don't know what I would've done without them. If anyone is in the area, I would definitely recommend a visit.

Take a look at what I am working on, the Video CV, D7 Recruitment with Video CV, I am trying to spread the word world wide and get as many people as possible to sign up. So if you can help spread the word that would be great.

My other site which is not up and running is D7 Consulting Business Solutions which offers all sorts of business solutions, when I get sorted out I will be very happy to add a link to your site and encourage people to use your services
